SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an aerosol forming cartridge for use in an electrically controlled system which generates an aerosol. Cartridge forming an aerosol for use in an electrically controlled aerosol-generating system, wherein cartridge comprises main layer; at least one aerosol-forming substrate, which is located on the base layer and comprises a liquid nicotine source; and an electric heater comprising at least one heating element for heating at least one aerosol-forming substrate, wherein the main layer and at least one aerosol-forming substrate are in contact on the contact surface, which is substantially planar, wherein the contact surface between the electric heater and the at least one aerosol-forming substrate is substantially planar and substantially parallel to the contact surface between the base layer and the at least one aerosol-forming substrate, and wherein at least one heating element is located on the opposite side of at least one aerosol-forming substrate relative to the base layer.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is the creation of an aerosol forming cartridge, which is reliable and inexpensive for production.
