FIELD: astronautics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to docking of spacecraft. Docking system (500) comprises gripping ring (502), drive units (504) and leveling elements (508). Units (504) are elongated elements (518) pivotally connected in places (514) of connection with support plate (512) and having the possibility of independent movement. Force control systems can passively (mechanical means, for example, coupling) limit force applied to each of elongated elements (518) at its loading from side of object, which is connected with system (500).
EFFECT: simplifying the docking control system, improving its reliability and reducing the weight of docking means.
