SUBSTANCE: disc brake mechanism of a commercial vehicle, containing a floating brake caliper that covers the brake disc, two located in the brake caliper, movable towards each other in the direction of the brake disc, containing each plate (4) carrying it and a friction lining (5) fixed on it brake pads (3), each of which is supported with an interference fit by means of a spring holding it (10) on a retaining bracket held on the brake caliper and covering the mounting hole of the brake caliper and is located in a niche installed on the vehicle, limited in the direction of rotation of the brake disc by the fangs of the brake shield brake shield, as well as a return device, with the help of which the return of the brake shoes are returned after the displacement due to braking and the release of the brake, and the return device contains acting on opposite brake shoes (3), acting equally against spring spacers (6) corresponding to the direction of tightening, it is designed in such a way that two V-shaped spacers (6) are provided, which, by the connecting section of their respective springy elbows (7), rest on the bracket holding the pads or are fixed on it, and the springy elbows (7) each spacers (6) are held with their ends (15) on opposite brake shoes (3).

EFFECT: improvement of the disc brake mechanism so that its return device has a simpler design, is less expensive to manufacture and has greater operational reliability.
