FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a fiber reinforced polymer composition intended for the manufacture of molded products. Composition contains propylene polymer (PP), representing propylene homopolymer (H-PP1) and/or propylene copolymer (C-PP1), carbon fiber (CF) and polar modified polypropylene (PMP) as a binding agent. In this case, the polar modified polypropylene (PMP) is a propylene polymer grafted with maleic anhydride as a binding agent.
EFFECT: fiber reinforced composition according to the invention has a good balance of mechanical properties such as high rigidity and impact strength with low mass.
