FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a composition intended for producing cast articles with reduced effect of tiger stripes, an article containing such a composition and use of peroxide for processing a polypropylene composition to obtain a composition for cast articles. Composition according to the invention contains from 35 to 80 wt% of modified composition of polypropylene and from 20 to 50 wt% of inorganic filler from total weight of composition. Modified polypropylene composition is obtained by treating the polypropylene composition with peroxide. Polypropylene composition contains a heterophase composition of (semi)crystalline polypropylene and an ethylene / propylene copolymer dispersed in said (semi)crystalline polypropylene, and a plastomer which is a copolymer of ethylene and at least one C4-C20 α-olefin. Characteristic viscosity IV, determined according to DIN ISO 1628/1 (in decalin at 135 °C), the fraction soluble in cold xylene of the modified polypropylene composition is 3.3 dl/g.
EFFECT: production of automotive industry products with reduced formation of tiger stripes, at the same time with preservation of mechanical properties at high level.
