FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: processing and control unit receives and processes signals from an angular velocity detection device. Processing and control unit performs first processing of the detected state parameter and determines the angular velocity of the vehicle wheel, the disk of which is fixed by fastening means on a hub. Processing and control unit also performs a second processing process, during which it recognizes and controls the presence of mechanical play between the wheel and its hub on the basis of a continuously detectable state parameter. Angular velocity detecting device has a coding ring with a given number of code sections and a sensor that is paired with it. Each code section generates, in the sensor paired with the coding ring, a measuring pulse of the detected state parameter with a given individual duration, which is determined for each code section by the processing and control unit during a second processing process.
EFFECT: continuous monitoring of the fasteners of the wheels while driving without the use of additional external sensors.
