FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in determining the dynamic braking force when electric motor runs in generator mode. Note here that measuring wheel runs on airstrip surface, its mechanical power of rotation is transmitted to DC generator to be converted into electric power and be released as thermal power at active load. Note also that normal load applied by measuring wheel onto airstrip surface is determined. Additionally, lengthwise force of adhesion between measuring wheel and airstrip surface at preset wheel slippage is determined when measuring wheel hub acts, via carriage, on force pickup in stabilising normal load of measuring wheel onto airstrip surface. Coefficient of dynamic braking is determined in calibration of the device.

EFFECT: higher accuracy.
