SUBSTANCE: method of analyzing static objects in a video stream, in which frames are received from surveillance cameras, displaying images of the monitoring area; obtained frames are processed by moving regions of moving objects and excluding people from analysis by recording their coordinates in base; forming a reference image of the control area background based on the processed frames; dynamically updating the reference image; generating a binary difference image of the current image of the area of interest obtained from the video stream with the reference image; determining an area of interest containing a static object; analyzing the change in the region of the static object compared to the reference image; identifying people and trajectories of their movement in the area of interest; associating a static object in the area of interest with the identified person in control; type of interaction with a static object of the identified person is determined and information on the incident is generated.

EFFECT: technical result consists in automation of detection of left or changed location of static object as incident with provision of connection of incident with recognized person.
