FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to therapy. Intragastric stent is introduced into the stomach using the endoscopic technique, the working element of which is made of titanium nickelide (nitinol) – alloy. It has memory of a predefined shape, hermetically sealed in a flexible tube of material and is resistant to chemical environment of stomach. Prior to installation, stent has a straight shape, and in installed condition – type of cylindrical spring with at least two full coils with outer diameter corresponding to patient's stomach size. Lubricant containing carbomer, glycerine, propylene glycol and water is introduced into the conductor tube immediately before the intragastric stent is introduced into the stomach and before the gastric intragastric stent is extracted from the stomach.

EFFECT: method provides long-term necessary and comfortable conditions for significant body weight reduction, as well as comfort when introducing and removing the stent, eliminating even partial adhesion of its surface to the surface of the conductor tube and disturbed shape of the stent when heated from body temperature at the stage of introduction, that allows to preserve initial stent shape during introduction into stomach.
