FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical microbiology and can be used both in research and in practical work for the bacteriological diagnosis of a number of pathogenic microorganisms (bacteria of the genus Listeria, Staphylococcus aureus, etc.). Nutrient medium for the determination of DNAse activity in pathogenic gram-positive bacteria contains a dry broth of salmon milt, microbiological agar, sodium chloride, glucose, 10 % sterile solution of calcium chloride, 0.1 M sterile solution of magnesium chloride and distilled water at a given ratio of components.
EFFECT: invention allows to reduce the time for detection of DNAse activity in pathogenic gram-positive bacteria.
