FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: unit is intended for gas cleaning from dust and other solid particles in various industries. Proposed unit comprises cylindrical casing with its top cylindrical part tangentially accommodating loading device and coaxial cleaned gas discharge device. Solid gas discharge device is connected to hopper to receive solid particles and installed in lower part of cylindrical casing. In lower zone of cylindrical part of housing there are support cylindrical cavities contacting with inner surface with coaxially installed cylindrical inserts, having turning device and through slots of rectangular cross section. In through slots there are arranged with possibility of longitudinal displacement the deflecting plates of rectangular shape equipped with movement mechanism along slots. In the conoidal part of the cylindro-conoidal housing on its inner surface there are rectilinear grooves, the depth of which is reduced to the solid particles unloading device.
EFFECT: unit for cleaning gases with relatively simple design and low hydraulic resistance enables efficient cleaning of contaminated gases containing solid particles in different amounts and differing by their physical and mechanical properties.
