SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ophthalmology. Ultrasonic needle for ophthalmosurgery is designed for dissection and aspiration of vitreous body and other eye tissues and comprises a sleeve for connection to an ultrasonic instrument, cannula having at least one working hole on the distal end and having a lumen extending from the proximal end of the cannula to the distal end. Cross section of working opening is smaller than cross-section of lumen of cannula. Side wall of the working opening of the cannula at the distal end is made inclined along the whole circumference of the working hole to form a cutting edge along the edge of this hole, having an inclination angle from 45° up to 60° relative to the longitudinal axis of the cannula. At the same time the surface of the chamfer is oriented to the outside.

EFFECT: ultrasonic needle for ophthalmosurgery is proposed.
