SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of video surveillance and object recognition. Essence of the proposed technical solution consists in the fact that a television camera and a method for generating a panoramic video image enable to use a built-in camera computer, which controls the movement of the pan-pivot platform with a television camera installed on it on a given route, wherein generates a single panoramic video image, as well as identifies and recognizes objects on each frame of the video image.

EFFECT: creation of a television camera and a method for formation of a panoramic video image and recognition of objects on it with a simpler and cheaper design.
