SWITCH WITH RSSI (INDICATOR OF INTENSITY OF RECEIVED SIGNAL) Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC G07C9/00 B60R25/00

Abstract RU 2686263 C2

FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: key-charmer is proposed. Finger key (203) comprises a communication device for receiving received polls and responding to polling vehicle (215), an accumulator battery, a processor. Processor is configured to identify received survey signals intensities, calculate upper and lower bounds based on received polls, determining whether the received polls have decreased or been increased, by comparing the signal intensities with the said applied upper and lower boundaries. If the received polls have increased above the applied upper limit, the survey is returned to vehicle (215) through a communication device. If the received polls have decreased below the applied lower boundary or have been increased between the applied lower and upper limits, no response to the poll is provided to save the battery. Processor is configured to discard used upper and lower bounds when predetermined number of recalculation of received polls goes beyond applied upper and lower boundaries and recalculating applied upper and lower bounds based on a sliding average of polled polls, wherein the moving average includes only received polls falling within the limits of the applied upper and lower boundaries. Method of wireless communication with key-switch, switch key is also proposed.

EFFECT: prevention of expenditure of key-switches of accumulator battery by sending unnecessary commands.
