FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the railway transport. According to friction compensation method of temperature movements of continuous rail track before section cutting of rail threads sectionalized welded under-rail base is installed for installation of compensation unit of joint gaps. In the transverse cradles of the under-rail base there installed between the rails are units of compensators, which contain thermal elements and liquid with a large coefficient of linear and volumetric expansion, and all forces from tightening, from elongation of thermoelements during artificial heating and increasing ambient temperature, from increasing volume of frozen liquid at low temperatures are transmitted to side surfaces through side straps, freely floating in axils of rails, further on angular stops, which are fixed from outer side of path on under-rail base, wherein axial force of friction between rails and straps is additionally adjusted to counteract temperature movements depending on stretching or compression stresses automatically by program control unit that switches on or off heating of thermoelement and maintains required temperature.

EFFECT: as a result, automatic control of rail thermal movement is provided, vibration of joint gaps on transient sections of welded rail track is limited.
