SUBSTANCE: optical measuring device comprising a first laser module which forms a first light line on the surface of a test object, a video camera and a processing system, characterized in that it includes a second and a third laser module which form on the surface of the monitored object two parallel light lines spaced apart at a given distance and perpendicular to the first light line, wherein the first laser module is installed so that the plane of its light flux is perpendicular to the surface of the monitoring object, the video camera is installed so that its optical axis makes with a normal to the surface of the monitoring object a given angle, and the projection of the optical axis on the surface of the test object is parallel to the light lines of the second and third laser modules and is located in the middle there between.

EFFECT: improving accuracy of trajectory maintenance of transport platform along welded seam with maximum deviations from the set distance from weld axis of the order of millimeter at movement both to the right, and to the left of reinforcement barrel.
