FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for separation of gas and liquid used in industry, which is a mist extractor. Mist extractor contains one or more modules for extracting mist, wherein module comprises flow directing tubes, primary sets of blades for swirling flow, installed in holes for gas inlet of tubes for flow direction, and tubes for collection of liquid, installed outside tubes for flow direction. Tube for collection of liquid inside is equipped with at least one tube for flow direction. Sidewalls of tubes for flow direction are equipped with structures for water passage. Between the surface of the outer wall of the tubes for directing the flow and the surface of the inner wall of the liquid collection tubes there are gaps to provide intermediate receiving cavities. Primary set of blades comprises a plurality of ring-shaped blades and support elements for fixing blades, between the neighboring blades, an inclined flow channel is formed, and the blades are curved plates, the curved plates cross section is a curved line with gradually varying curvature, which curvature proportionally increases in direction of gas flow passage.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of extracting mist drops with small particle size.
