FIELD: radar ranging and radio navigation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio navigation and can be used to determine spatial coordinates of a moving object and control its movement in navigation areas. Method is characterized by that signals with individual features are transmitted from a moving object, received and identified by stations of the receiving system containing a given number of stations with given coordinates of antenna centers of antenna phase centers (APC). At the stations the projections of the speed of the object are measured on straight lines connecting the APC of the stations with the APC of the object, the accelerations corresponding to them, derivatives of these accelerations in time. Based on said projections for each station, corresponding ranges from object APC to APC of stations are determined according to measurement equations proposed in method. At these distances for three or more stations, coordinates of the object APC are determined in the given Cartesian coordinate system.
EFFECT: absence, including requirements for availability of a single system of time receiving system and object signals.
