FIELD: radar ranging and radio navigation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio navigation and can be used to determine spatial coordinates of a moving object and control its movement in navigation areas. Method is characterized in that a station of a transmitting system comprising a predetermined number of stations with given and known on object coordinates of antenna phase centers (APC) of stations, transmitting signals with individual characteristics for each station. On the object signals are received, identified and measured projections of speed of object, corresponding to them accelerations, derivatives of these accelerations in time on direct lines, connecting object APC to corresponding APC stations, and based on said projections, ranging from the APC of the stations to the APC of the object according to the corresponding measurement equations. At these distances for three or more stations, coordinates of the object APC are determined in the given Cartesian coordinate system.
EFFECT: absence, including requirements for provision of synchronized transmission of radio signals by stations and availability of a single time system transmitting radio signals of the system and object.
