FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of fractionating an output stream of a transalkylation reactor, involving the following steps: (a) feeding a feed stream of a pre-fractionation column containing toluene, C8 aromatic compounds and C9+ aromatic compounds, into pre-fractionation column preheated by reboiler to produce pre-fractionation column pre-fractionation column and pre-fractionation column bottom effluent and (b) feeding the pre-fractionation column pre-fractionation column effluent and the pre-fractionation column bottom effluent into the side-flow column to obtain a head stream of the side-stream column containing toluene, and the first side stream of the side stream column containing C8 aromatic compounds, and the bottom stream of the side stream column containing C9+ aromatic compounds. Invention also relates to a device for fractionation of the output stream of a transalkylation reactor and to a method of processing aromatic hydrocarbons.

EFFECT: use of the proposed invention allows more effective saving of energy resources.
