FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shutoff and control valves, particularly, to ball valves. Ball valve includes housing with inlet and outlet branch pipes, ball rotary gate with through passage, spindle, seal of spindle and seat of ball rotary valve. In the through passage hole of the spherical rotary shutter medium flow diverters are installed. Medium flow dividers are made in the form of four flat plates, which are installed parallel to each other, are perforated with round holes in cross section, fixed relative to through passage hole by means of welding, are installed parallel to the axis of rotation of the spherical rotary shutter and symmetrically relative to the longitudinal axis of the through passage hole of the spherical rotary gate with formation of equal through width through parallel channels. Flat plates are connected by means of two parallel to the longitudinal through axis of through bore of the spherical rotary gate of rows of round rods in cross section connected to flat plates by means of welding. Rods installed between central flat plates are located at greater distance from horizontal transverse axis of through passage hole of ball rotary shutter than rods installed between central and extreme flat plates. All rows of rods are located symmetrically relative to horizontal transverse axis of through passage hole of ball rotary gate, holes in flat plates are made in staggered order, and inlet and outlet edges of flat plates are made along spherical surface of ball rotary shutter and rounded, wherein rounding profile is formed by arcs of circle, smoothly conjugated with flat side surface of plates.

EFFECT: as a result, broader functional capabilities are achieved by providing a wider range of controlling flow rate of the medium flowing through the ball valve at relatively low hydraulic losses and as a result, low level of noise and vibration, as well as preventing the development of cavitation during operation of the ball valve.
