FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of energy technological processing of coal, in particular, to production of heat energy from coal and high-calorific solid fuel (coke) for metallurgy, power engineering and other industries. Method includes thermo-oxidative treatment of ground coal of 0–35 mm fraction in apparatus with boiling bed reactor at temperature 650–800 °C air supplied through air distributing cap grate, and further unloading. At that, from 10 to 50 % of the total air flow is directed to distributed air nozzles arranged along the walls of the boiling layer reactor, and the remaining part is directed into the directed air blast tubes parallel to the plane of the grid in the direction opposite to the coal supply front.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention consists in continuous and stable implementation of technological process of obtaining medium-temperature coke in the boiling bed, which increases average annual efficiency of the process by medium-temperature coke and heat energy.
