FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to treatment of elongated material. Material relates to absorbent articles. Method of docking material involves transportation and docking of next and previous materials. Transportation is performed in direction of transportation at winding of material around input roller and movable roller of tensioning device. Docking of the next material with the transported precursor material is performed by attaching the leading end part of the next material with the preceding material and cutting the previous material. Precursor material is cut so that the total length of the fastened part and the multilayer part is greater than the length of the material path from the lower end of the wound portion of the material to the upstream end. Material feed device comprises a tensioning device, a transporting section, a material docking section, a cutting section and a control section.
EFFECT: eliminating impermanence of material tension.
