SUBSTANCE: method comprises providing a plurality of rod-shaped consumer goods to an upstream end of a stack of the goods folding channel and feeding them along a channel into a downstream end of the channel, wherein the upstream end of the channel is higher in the vertical direction than the downstream end, and at least part of channel passes at angle of 25 to 75° relative to vertical direction. Method further includes receiving a plurality of goods into a hopper from a downstream end of the channel and distributing a plurality of goods from the hopper into the packaging device. Invention is also a loading device for supply of goods, intended for implementation of above described method.
