FIELD: smoking accessories.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a container for a smoking article, comprising: a base layer having first and second ends and comprising an elongated recess for receiving a smoking article, wherein elongated recess has first and second ends; and a covering layer having first and second ends and lying over the elongated recess so that the cover layer and the elongated recess together form a cavity for accommodating the smoking article, wherein the cavity has first and second ends; wherein each of first end of elongated recess and first end of cover layer comprises heat-insulating section; maximum width of the first end of the cavity between the base layer and the cover layer is greater than the maximum width of the second end of the cavity between the base layer and the cover layer; and the cover layer is movable between an open position in which the smoking article can be removed from the cavity and re-inserted into the cavity, and a closed position, in which the coating layer can substantially seal the smoking article in the smoking article cancellation cavity after the smoking article has been lit.
EFFECT: technical result consists in provision of smoking product damping.
