SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to medical, toxicology studies, and can be used in diagnosing ecologically caused pathology caused by polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH), in laboratories of biochemistry, specialized institutions and clinical and diagnostic laboratories of medical institutions. Method for determining 1-hydroxypyrite in urine involves adding to the sample an isotopically labeled standard 1-hydroxypyrene-d9, enzymatic hydrolysis β-glucuronidase at 55 °C for 1 hour, double extraction with hexane, evaporating the obtained extract to dryness in a small nitrogen stream, derivatising the dry residue with silylating N,O-bis-(trimethylsilyl)trifluoroacetamide at 22–25 °C for 5 minutes followed by gas-chromatographic analysis on a capillary column with a mass-selective detector for 20 minutes.

EFFECT: high accuracy and sensitivity of analysis, shorter sample preparation time.
