SUBSTANCE: invention relates to analytical chemistry, namely to gas chromatography, and can be used in the industrial production of glyphosate. A method for the quantitative determination of glyphosate and N-(phosphonomethyl)-iminodiacetic acid in their combined presence in the concentration ranges of 5-98 wt. %, of each of the components includes the determination of the components in the presence of an internal standard by gas chromatographic analysis with preliminary obtaining of the corresponding silyl derivatives of these components and the internal standard.

EFFECT: quantitative analysis of silyl derivatives of glyphosate and N- (phosphonomethyl)iminodiacetic acid with good accuracy and reproducibility of the results.
