FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy. Device destructed by metal melt temperature includes container with heat-insulating material, made with elements of engagement. Container is flat, has shape corresponding to shape of concealed ladle, and is made of segments (1) connected to each other and fixed to carcass planks (3). Device is placed directly on surface of molten metal.
EFFECT: ensuring uniform supply of heat-insulating material over the melt surface in the ladle and improving melt heat insulation efficiency.
