SUBSTANCE: claimed group of inventions discloses a liquid veterinary composition applied by pouring for use in the protection and treatment of parasitic infestations in cattle, containing an effective amount of at least one isoxazoline compound, where the isoxazoline compound is fluralaner or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and a pharmaceutically acceptable vehicle containing at least one skin penetration enhancer and a solvent system, wherein the skin penetration enhancer contains menthol, and the solvent system contains a pyrrolidone solvent and isopropyl alcohol and propylene glycol dicaprylate/dicaprate in an amount of 10 % w/v.
EFFECT: group of inventions also relates to a method of protecting cattle from ectoparasitic invasion and to the use of a liquid veterinary composition in the manufacture of a medicinal product for protecting cattle from ectoparasitic invasion and/or treating ectoparasitic invasion.
