FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of veterinary medicine; it is intended for combating parasites in animals. A soft chewable veterinary pharmaceutical composition for oral administration is presented, containing effective amount of an isooxazoline compound or its salts or solvates, where the soft chewable veterinary composition contains a solvent selected from 2-pyrrolidone, dimethylacetamide or mixtures thereof, and a solid carrier. In addition, the use of the presented veterinary pharmaceutical composition for combating infection by parasites-insects and/or parasites-ticks in animals is described.
EFFECT: effective ectoparasiticidal action with increased bioavailability.
