SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF ENCODING BIOSENSOR CALIBRATION Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC G01N33/487

Abstract RU 2688222 C2

FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to biosensors for determining analyte concentration in a liquid sample. Test sensor for determining concentration of an analyte in a biological liquid comprises: a sensor plate, which includes a liquid receiving area and an insertion area into the port; one or more sensor contacts located in the area of insertion into port; a first row of optically transparent and opaque positions forming a calibration combination pattern located in the first region of the insert region into the port; and a second row of optically transparent and opaque positions forming a synchronization code combination located in the second region of the insert area into the port, wherein second zone differs from first zone, so that one or more sensor contacts are located between first zone and second zone. At that, synchronization code combination corresponds to calibration code combination so that synchronization code combination provides synchronization of calibration code combination during insertion of insertion area into port into receiving port of analyzer, and wherein one or more sensor contacts are configured to transmit electrical signals when inserting the insert area into the port into the analyte meter receiving port. Invention also discloses a test sensor for determining concentration of an analyte in a biological fluid, a biosensor system for determining concentration of an analyte in a biological fluid, as well as a method for determining concentration of an analyte in a biological fluid.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides higher accuracy and precision of measurements of concentration of analytes.
