SUBSTANCE: biological and chemical studies of an analyte. The flow cell contains a substrate containing a contact pad of the substrate, a sensor located on top of the substrate and containing the active surface and the contact pad of the sensor, a passivation layer located on top of the active surface of the sensor, wherein the passivation layer contains reaction depressions, a moulding layer located on top of the substrate and covering the sides of the sensor, wherein the moulding layer has a moulding height relative to the upper surface of the substrate, wherein the moulding height is greater than the height of the active surface of the sensor relative to the upper surface of the substrate, and a covering layer located on top of the sufficiently flat upper surface of the moulding layer and on top of the active surface, wherein the covering layer and the moulding layer together form a gap above the active surface of the sensor, defining the flow channel.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to create a small and inexpensive flow cell with a large active sensor area.
