SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of determining concentration of at least one analyte in a physiological fluid by using mobile device (112) and test element (114). Additionally disclosed is mobile device (112), set (110) and a computer-readable data medium. Method includes: a) determining the angular position of mobile device (112) relative to test element (114) using the sensor data of at least one sensor device (120) integrated into mobile device (112); b) performing at least one validation of the readings of the angular position of mobile device (112) relative to test element (114); c) obtaining at least one image (128) of at least part of test element (114) using camera (118), wherein at least one part of test element (114) includes at least one part of test field (116); and d) determining concentration of analyte in physiological fluid from image (128); wherein at least one of steps c) and d) is performed taking into account the result of checking for reliability of readings at step b).

EFFECT: use of this group of inventions will provide fast, efficient and accurate measurement even in varying measurement conditions.
