FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: invention represents a method for producing a monolayer transient cell line of the East Asian forest mouse Apodemus peninsulae for reproducing tick-borne encephalitis virus and producing a viral antigen for vaccines and diagnostic preparations, including homogenisation of the kidney of the East Asian forest mouse Apodemus peninsulae, then suspending 5 ml of trypsin solution (0.167 %) in phosphate-salt buffer (pH 7.4) and incubating suspension at 37 °C for 1 hour, after which the suspension is centrifuged at 1,200 g, supernatant is removed and resuspended in 5 ml of RPMI1640 medium with addition of 20 % of fetal calf serum, 100 units/ml of penicillin, 100 m kg/ml of streptomycin and 2 mM of L-glutamine, then primary cells cultures are incubated at 37 °C in atmosphere of 5 % CO2 until monolayer formation.

EFFECT: invention can be used for production of vaccines and diagnostic preparations, as well as for isolation, accumulation and study of BCE.
