SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of biotechnology, immunology and virology. An immunobiological agent for the prevention of diseases caused by tick-borne encephalitis virus has been created based on a recombinant virus of the Flavivirus genus obtained using genetic engineering, reverse genetics and de novo gene synthesis and is a vector yellow fever virus in which part of the capsid (C) protein is premembrane (prM) and envelope (E) proteins are replaced by part of the capsid (C) protein, premembrane (prM) and envelope (E) proteins of 493 tick-borne encephalitis virus strains. The first vector virus may be a yellow fever virus, namely the YF17DD-UN strain. In addition, the recombinant virus may be the YF17DD-UN/TBE493 virus.
EFFECT: group of inventions expands the arsenal of means for induction of specific immunity against diseases caused by tick-borne encephalitis virus.
