FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely ophthalmosurgery. For treating bullous keratopathy, surgical approach to deep corneal stromal layers, corneal stroma lamination, followed by intra-gastric pocket formation and implantation into the last implant is performed. Using the femtosecond laser radiation, an intra-stromal pocket is formed by making a planar circular lamelar incision of the cornea with diameter of 8.0–9.0 mm at a depth making at least 2/3 of its minimum thickness. That is followed by forming an entrance to the pocket by making corneal incision 2.5–3.0 mm long along the edge of the formed intra-stromal pocket at the depth of the previously lamellar incision. Further, a hydrogel disk of the required diameter is implanted in the folded form through the formed input into the intrastromal pocket.

EFFECT: method reduces intraoperative injuries, improves accuracy and reproducibility of intervention, excludes conditions for development of induced postoperative corneal astigmatism.
