FIELD: radio engineering and communications.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used in designing means of identifying radar targets. Essence of invention consists in application of additional selection of pulses at false time positions in radar interrogator, along with existing types of selection of response signal, in terms of power level relative to synchronization pulse. This allows excluding from the further processing a significant part of interference pulses, which do not correspond to the power level of the synchronization pulse, and thereby increase the probability of correct target identification.
EFFECT: high probability of correct identification of targets in conditions of high density of response signals.
