FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to laser engineering, particularly, to laser gyroscopy. Method of measuring angular displacements by a Zeeman laser gyroscope includes creating a frequency base by applying a magnetic field on an active element of a circular laser with elliptical or circular polarization of radiation in an active element of the ring laser, extracting information on angular movements from information coming from a circular laser, wherein magnetic field intensity is set close to a value at which an extremum is achieved depending on the refraction index of the active medium from the magnetic field intensity.
EFFECT: reduced error of measurement of angular displacements by laser gyroscope.
