FIELD: instrument making.

SUBSTANCE: measurement method of angular movements with laser gyroscope involves operation of laser gyroscope in double-frequency mode on one of orthogonal polarised modes of annular laser of laser gyroscope, development of frequency support by means of application of magnetic field on active element of annular laser with elliptical or circular polarisation of radiation in active element of annular laser, pointing out of information on angular movements from the information supplied from annular laser in which there provided is periodic alternating operation of annular laser in double-frequency modes on modes with orthogonal polarisations of annular laser; at that, after each completion period of annular laser operation on any of those modes, annular laser is switched to mode with orthogonal polarisation.

EFFECT: invention allows reducing measurement error determined by sensitivity of laser gyroscope operating in double-frequency mode to magnetic fields.
