FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machining of parts and can be used in devices for clamping parts during machining. Clamping device (10) comprises clamping unit (14), drive mechanism (12) connected to clamping unit (14) and including drive element (30) installed with possibility of rectilinear movement in preset direction inside clamping unit (14), clamping lever (17) installed in clamping unit (14) with possibility of rotary movement by means of mechanism (12) operation through lever mechanism (16), which is arranged in clamping unit (14) and is configured to convert drive element (30) rectilinear motion into clamping lever (17) rotary movement, control unit, unit (18) for determination of clamping lever (17) position and decision unit on determination of clamping device in clamping state.
EFFECT: using the invention allows simplifying the design of the device and improving its operation reliability.
