METHOD FOR MAINTAIN THE HUMAN ENERGY BALANCE Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61N1/18 A61N1/36 A61K35/62 A61P43/00

Abstract RU 2689025 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to medical rehabilitation, and can be used for maintenance of human energy balance. That is ensured by electroneurostimulation with a bipolar pulse current with a trapezoid envelope frequency of 20 to 120 Hz, a parcel and a pause, respectively, for 2 seconds to moderate contraction of the muscles under the electrodes, and medical leech is placed. Duration of electroneurostimulation increases sequentially from 15 minutes of the first procedure to 20 minutes in subsequent procedures. Leeches are placed for 10–20 minutes for each procedure. On the first day, the exposure is performed in the right hypochondrium on the right oblique abdominal muscle, after which a leech is placed therein. On the second day, the left oblique muscle is exposed in the left hypochondrium, and a leech is placed thereat. On the third day, a trapezoidal muscle is exposed, and then a leech is placed in an upper thoracic spine. On the fourth day, the exposure is carried out in the areas of large pectoral muscles on both sides, and then the leech is placed in a projection of the sternum. On the fifth day, electroneurostimulation is performed from both sides in the broadest muscles of the back, and then the leech is placed in the lumbar spine. On the sixth day, electroneurostimulation is performed from both sides in the gluteus maximus regions, and the leech is placed in the coccygeal region.

EFFECT: method enables controlling metabolic processes in body organs and systems, providing energy homeostasis and normalization of its regulatory mechanisms by synergism of effects of the exposure.
