FIELD: communication equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication technologies, in particular to communication systems which provide access to a channel in a wireless local area network. Invention discloses a channel access device, comprising: a unit for generating pause counter values, subtracting from the pauses count value the number of N sub-channels for random access to obtain a new pause counter value, when new value of pauses counter is equal to 0 or negative number, processing unit randomly selects with the help of station one sub channel from number of subchannels for random access and then gets access to sub-channel.
EFFECT: invention is intended to increase efficiency of access when solving problem of access to sub-channel of OFDMA and allows to avoid excessive expenditures of system resources.
