SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in control systems of internal combustion engines. Control device for internal combustion engine includes electronic control module. Electronic control module is configured to control injection volume and fuel injection moment as target injection volume and target injection moment, given based on engine operating state, detect fuel ignition moment based on engine housing vibration component in specific frequency band and to correct at least one of target injection volume and injection target moment based on deviation between detected ignition moment and target ignition moment according to engine operating state. Specific frequency band is a pass band on the side of low frequencies of the frequency band, in which the engine housing undergoes elastic vibration.
EFFECT: invention allows improving accuracy of fuel ignition moment detection.
