SUBSTANCE: group of inventions can be used in medicine, particularly in dentistry, and relates to increasing or intensifying expression of HSP27 in oral tissues. Method involves administering an oral care composition containing taurine or a salt thereof in amount of 0.001 wt. % to 0.05 wt. % by total weight of composition and carrier acceptable for oral administration. Also disclosed is a method of increasing or enhancing expression of HSP27 in oral tissues, comprising administering into tissue an effective amount of taurine or a salt thereof.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides effective amplification of HSP27 production in damaged tissues of oral cavity and improves recovery of damaged tissue.
