FIELD: hygiene.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an oral care composition and a method of using it. Composition represents mouthwash containing 0.8–1.2 % of cannabis seed oil and 0.15–0.35 % of caprylyl glycol of composition weight. In certain embodiments, the composition may additionally contain one or more ingredients selected from hyaluronic acid and aloe vera. Oral cavity improvement method involves administering an effective amount of the above composition to the individual's oral cavity in need thereof. Improvement of the oral cavity is selected from one or more of the following: (a) alleviating or reducing dry mouth, (b) reducing tissue friction as a result of drying, (c) relieving and/or preventing discomfort caused by dry mouth, (d) increasing the amount of oral lubrication, (e) increasing the hydration of the oral tissues.
EFFECT: use of the mouth rinse product, having high ability to retain moisture, effectively relieves dry mouth and discomfort.
