FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to diagnostics of wired contact network state. Method of contact wire parameters measurement consists in the following. There is a source of light interference in the working area of the location system. If presence of light interference is detected, current coordinates of the light interference source and their change in time are determined. Possibility of potential hitting of light interference in working area of one of two or more systems for measuring parameters of contact wire is calculated. Contact wire parameters measurement system is switched off, and the working area of the wire is calculated for the possibility of light interference. Images of contact wire are fixed by means of other measurement systems, in regard to working areas of which absence of light hitting is calculated. Fixed contact wire images are processed to measure contact wire parameters. Working areas of measurement systems are oriented in space so that light interference can not be simultaneously in working areas of two or more measurement systems. Device for measuring contact wire parameters is also disclosed.

EFFECT: high noise-immunity of operation of optical systems for measuring parameters of a contact wire.
