SUBSTANCE: present invention discloses coffee machine (1) comprising the following elements: controller; water heater for heating water flow for infusion; movable infusion unit (3) comprising an open infusion chamber (4) connected to a coffee infusion line (6), and ejecting piston (9) installed with possibility of movement in infusion chamber (4); feeding line (5) supplying said water flow for infusion into infusion unit (3); and locking piston (8) made with possibility of being connected to infusion chamber (4) for its closing; wherein the controller is programmed to initiate infusion unit (3), before the infusion, initiating a first translation process in order to close infusion chamber (4) with closing piston (8), and to initiate infusion chamber (4) and pushing piston (9) or only pushing piston (9), already after the infusion process, of the second translation process in the same direction as during the first process of translational movement, in order to press coffee grounds (33) left after passage of water through a portion of coffee powder, locking piston (8) and draining of liquid contained in it.

EFFECT: these drip coffee machines offer the undeniable advantage of being simple in construction with extremely limited production costs.
