FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular, to poultry keeping. Method for quail feeding involves using a probiotic additive consisting of lactic acid bacteria, wherein lactic acid bacteria Lactobacillus salivarius are used, which are cultivated in medium containing 45.0 g/l of molasses of fodder, consisting of beet-roots and maize molasses taken in ratio of 1:1, K2HPO4 – 2.0 g/l and yeast extract – 0.02 g/l, at 37 °C for 24 hours before titre Lactobacillus salivarius of not less than 1.0×1010 CFU/ml and treated with quails daily in dosage 0.2–1.0 ml per head.
EFFECT: proposed method for growth of quails ensures enhancement of poultry meat efficiency.
