SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular, to poultry breeding, and specifically to a method for growing quails. Method for growth of quail involves use of a probiotic additive consisting of lactic acid bacteria Lactobacillus agilis, which are cultivated in a medium, including 45.0 g/l of molasses fodder, consisting of beet-roots and maize molasses, taken in ratio 1:1, K₂NRA₄ – 2.0 g/l and yeast extract – 0.02 g/l, with 37 °C for 24 hours to achieve titre Lactobacillus agilis of not less than 1.0×10¹⁰ CFU/ml, which is coated with quails daily in dose of 0.2–1.0 ml per head.

EFFECT: proposed method for growth of quails ensures higher meat yield of poultry.
