SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to collision avoidance. Vehicle implementing vehicle collision warning method based on time to collision. Proposed vehicle comprises object detection sensor, speed transducer and collision warning device. Collision warning means shall determine distance to object and determine time to collision on the basis of distance and current speed. Collision warning device shall, in response to the time before the collision, produce the first warning signal associated with the first threshold before the collision, less than or equal to the first threshold value before the collision. In response to time before collision greater than first threshold value, to determine predicted speed and to compare predicted speed and current speed, whether to issue second warning signal.

EFFECT: assistance to the driver is provided to prevent collision with the object located behind the vehicle.
